Join the fun and run, walk or roll in Wilket Creek Park on Saturday, December 7, 2024, to support The Gateway Drop-in!

Festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m. with opening ceremonies at 9:40 a.m. The 5 K Fun Run and 1K Elf Walk will start at 10:00 a.m. Use the entrance at 1132 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario (just north of Eglinton Avenue) to discover our Athletes’ Village.

All funds raised through the 2024 Toronto Santa Shuffle will go directly to The Salvation Army Gateway, a 78-bed shelter and Drop-in centre for individuals experiencing homelessness and marginalization in Downtown Toronto.

This year, we invited community members back into our Gateway Drop-in in person, two days a week, after a long hiatus due to Covid19. We serve our community members a hot lunch on the days we operate the Drop-in program and offer hot take away meals to community members 3 nights each week.

In addition, our Drop-in has now expanded to include critical harm reduction support and social activities that create a stronger sense of community.

We were able to fully fund our 2024 Drop-in because of the money raised through last year’s Toronto Santa Shuffle and we hope to do the same again for 2025!
