What is the Santa Shuffle’s impact?

crowd_shotFunds raised through the Santa Shuffle directly support The Gateway Drop-in program, open from 1 to 7 pm 5-7 a week and provides hot meals, recreational programming as well as safety, warmth and a place for friendships to develop.  For anyone living on the street, in a shelter or in low-income housing, having a place to go and a community to belong to makes a world of difference.

Whether providing practical support such as case management, housing advice and addictions counseling or tending to the health and spiritual care of our community, the Gateway’s programs serve to strengthen the individual. The Gateway is “The Hand of God in the Heart of the City.” Accordingly, all Santa Shuffle donations have a direct and meaningful impact on the work of the Gateway.
